Boat launch in Baysville

This was the second of 2 fish. 7.2 & 6.5 lbs. I marked a number of fish enter the area and as soon as the first was released back into the hole, I re-rigged a new minnow and had a fresh fish moments after it touched bottom. And fought like a runaway train. And this is her in all her beauty. And it too went back to breed again.

My friends have spent most of their summers in Lake Of Bays and Dorset, Ontario for decades now. After hearing some stories of the "un-fishable" area I decided to put an end to the myth. Sure enough I caught 4 of these beauties in under 2 hours of an early morning in August. On the second day I caught two more and even a beauty Pike. Unfortunately no picture of the pike. We call it "the pike that got away."
