Lake of Bays at Rabbits Bay 850a.m 8lber and not a bite the rest of the day.Ice is excellent 18 inches.Very slippery. We had a man go down. Wear cleats.

Fished Fletcher lake yesterday with a couple buddies. Slush very bad with that last bunch of snow.Some old snowmobile tracks helped.Then someone roughed up the lake with a snowmobile. Done for the season there.
Went out on Kabakwa north of Carnarvon yesterday with a buddy.Ice was 4 to 6 inches in the bay we fish.Started to thin out the farther we went out lost a fish.Broke line and almost lost rod.Only excitement of the day.Nice to get out.Slushy in spots

Fished lake rosseau yesterday. It has slowed down big time.Ice conditions miserable. Slush and frozen ice over water very dangerous.Ice is still 2ft deep.Walking out not safe.

A buddy and l fished lake rosseau yesterday.We caught 12 and kept 4 eaters.3-5 lbers.Ice about 18 inches.Great walking on hardpack snow.

Very frustrating lake.I have fished it five different times.Yestetday about 4 inches of ice.l have never caught or seen anyone catch a fish there.24,400 stocked splake since 2008.Where did they go ? Not a big lake.
This young man caught the monster laker through the ice on little hawk lake.Just got the rod for Christmas and this was the first fish he caught with Santa's gift.

Fished Cat Lake north of West Guildford.Heavily stocked Brook trout Lake.We caught one.We lost three at the hole.A biggie due to line cut on ice.

Just found out today that Williams spoon l bought would work better than minnows
Walleye and Lakers caught yesterday.
Ice in great condition thanks to snowmobiles.Walk was easy and ice is about 12 inches.Great day on the ice.Fish started biteing around 10 a.m.
