Landing a spring Rainbow at the mouth of the Ganaraska River in Port Hope, Ontario

Float fishing for late summer Salmon heading up the Ganaraska River to spawn.

1 of 6 spring Bows running up the Ganaraska River on this day. Fish were hitting on both blue/silver Cleo’s and row.

This was the second of 2 fish. 7.2 & 6.5 lbs. I marked a number of fish enter the area and as soon as the first was released back into the hole, I re-rigged a new minnow and had a fresh fish moments after it touched bottom. And fought like a runaway train. And this is her in all her beauty. And it too went back to breed again.
