Come fish for free

Kokanee Bay Resort at Lac La Hache hosts the annual Father's Day Fishing Derby, June 14-15. The derby takes place from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday on Lac La Hache. No fishing licence required for B.C. residents because this event takes place on B.C. Family Fishing Weekend. Enjoy the beautiful Lac La Hache and catch some fish that could win you some cash prizes. Hamburger/hot dog sales on Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Include entry in bonus draws and silent auction.
