What set up were you using to catch lake. Any info would be apprieciated

Late fall, casting for rainbow with a 1/4 ounce Krocodile, ultralight rig, 4 lb test. Between Emerald and Crown Royal Islands.

Thanks but what about lakers I, have caught one larger lake trout but none since or even any bites really getting frustrated fishing for lake trout.
