Kids Catch

Lots of rainbows in Shane Lake. My two girls were catching plenty of these beautiful fish on September 20, 2009 - the bite was on! The flesh is very pink, and quite tasty!

Vivian Lake is a small jewel just north of Prince George. Home to brook and rainbow trout, the lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating and swimming. The fish are big and the lake is perfect for some tried and true fly patterns and lures.

Fish Release - Third Round

It's fun catching fish, but the Spruce City Wildlife Association also showed the kids how much fun it was to release small fish into the lake. This picture shows Denise Collett, Spruce City President, and two kids walking a bucket of fish down to the lake for release.
