Zlunker

Just over 3 lbs on Swan yesterday. Only one but what a beautiful day on the water.

We tried this lake for the second time over this long weekend. Love the scenery, but this lake is very stingy in what it gives up even though the fish finder was dotted like it had a severe case of hives. It may have skunked us the first time, but this outing was more productive as I landed my very first Kokanee! Not entirely a wasted day :) Big thanks goes out to the gentleman we met at the launch. Your knowledge of this lake was bang on and we just can't wait to try your pointers next year!! Tight lines

Fishing with a buddy at Shannon on June 3rd produced nothing for the first couple hours. Switched to jigging a worm (barbless) / or bobbing a worm produced us around 18 LM Bass over a period of 3 hrs (all released). I managed to land this lunker on my last cast (just to get rid of my bait before leaving) ...clocked in at about 4lbs! What a great day :)

Good day on the lake Two of us managed to haul in 16 perch one day then followed it up with 17 more perch and 1 whitefish the next Best start to a season ever!

Catch and Release

A friend and I spent yesterday catching Perch and Sunfish. Sunfish are very agressive, attacking anything thrown into the water, which makes it difficult at times to keep your bait when setting your line. Once we found the perch we were hauling them in like crazy but all were quite small yet. Others on the water were having similar issues that day.
