Fishing at Lake Matinenda...

Fishing at Lake Matinenda Ontario Canada a fish I caught swam under some brush. Working the line I thought I had freed it but then this Turtle surfaced. It had grabbed my fish and refused to let go. I netted it and it finally let go of the fish and I returned the Turtle to the lake.

Summer lake trout

My buddies and I want to try a little lake trout fishing next July on Matinenda. We plan to try trolling a three way swivel system about 40-60 feet down. Any suggestions on line weight and rod length/ strength? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks again.
