Summer lake trout

My buddies and I want to try a little lake trout fishing next July on Matinenda. We plan to try trolling a three way swivel system about 40-60 feet down. Any suggestions on line weight and rod length/ strength? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks again.

First trip to Matinenda

My friends and I are looking forward to our first-ever Canadian fishing trip this July. We are staying near Bakers Bay. Any advise for hooking into some of the huge smallmouth would certainly be appreciated. Thanks for your help, Tight Lines, Wally
