In the middle of Ice season there is a stretch of river that stays open. On the last day of the season for many of our favourite Manitoba fish we found some decent sized pike. Felt good to stretch the arm mid ice season!
My personal best Rainbow Trout was caught this summer 27.25"! What a tank! This fish held out ALL year and is Manitoba's biggest caught Rainbow Trout of the 2016 season.
Took my mom out to a new lake to try to hunt some late fall Brown trout and possibly the odd Smallmouth bass. Within minutes of leaving the dock i tied into this beautiful Manitoba master angler smallmouth bass! Not bad for a first time on that lake!
First year hunting out these beautiful slabs. The first time out we almost gave up untill a last minute lure switch put us on some nice Bluegills. After that its been an awesome summer catching these slabs.
