Bullheads in the Lily pads. I recently got engaged and got a fly rod that matched perfectly with my ring. So of course being a newly engaged woman I had to catch a fish to show them both off!

10.75 inch Bluegill Can't get out on the boat? No problem! I love going back to easy fishing and using a bobber. I still love watching it go down and having one of these tanks come up!

My biggest bluegill at 10.5...

My biggest bluegill at 10.5 inches. I absolutely can't wait to get out on the boat and catch these guys again. The only way we are able to fish for these guys is because of a wonderful couple just being Canadian and letting us use their personal boat launch. We can't thank them enough!

Tank of a bluegill. The golden color on this female blue gill was mesmerising. She put one heck of a fight up and because the fish are right in the weeds you have to be holding onto your rod to be able to feel when they bite. That makes it so much more fun, feeling every little action.

Bluegill heaven....

Bluegill heaven. These fish put up such a fight. Fishing is definitely my addiction. These fish were also great for me to practice taking fish off of the hook!

Out fishing with my boyfriend and his mom. I can't help but smile when catching these Bluegills. Being on a 12 foot boat with three people all catching blue gills was chaos, but one of the best fishing days that I will always remember.

Fishing in the rain....

Fishing in the rain. Sometimes rain can put a damper on things but not with fishing! The three of us barely noticed the rain because we were catching so many of these blue gills. I think the smile on my face says it all!

First year hunting out these beautiful slabs. The first time out we almost gave up untill a last minute lure switch put us on some nice Bluegills. After that its been an awesome summer catching these slabs.
