Lodging and Camping

Just off the Coquihalla Highway, this small lake is surrounded by an open lodgepole pine forest. The park offers opportunities for fishing and picnicking day-use only; no overnight camping is permitted. Popular activities include hiking, cycling, wildlife viewing, and fishing from the dock. Camping is available at Lac le Jeune Provincial Park 4 km east. Day-use area with winter recreation. Park Size: 55 hectares

1 km from the Coquihalla Highway on Hwy 5, 37 km south of Kamloops.

ice is off the lake

walloper lake is clear of ice and so is edith lake as well as jacko lake so things are things are starting to get looking like summer was up there on sat. it was very sure looks good to see open water

Family Fishing Event at Walloper Lake June 15

The Kamloops and District Fish and Game Association is hosting a Family Fishing Day at Walloper Lake on Sunday June 15. This free event runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and there are lots of prizes to be given away. As this takes place during BC's Family Fishing Weekend, no fishing licenses are required.
