End of trail to launch kayak or canoe the trail is about one km and is uneven with rocks stumps up and down terrain in a mountain valley.

Camp site accessed by boat for tents only. It has a fire pit, picnic table, Locker for bear proofing supplies, and pit toilet.

Another good day at arctic!

Early spring fishing on arctic lake was amazing again! This is a average laker I got yesterday. Only got one dolly this time with a black number three blue fox. Rest of the Lakers were on minnow patterns. Such a nice lake to fish. Be sure to check the regs before you go as there are more than just the general region regs. Good luck everyone!

Arctic was arctic-like

Shane Kelly writes: "I made a trip into Arctic Lake this past weekend! The 700 road out to the Parsnip is in very poor shape and the upper bridge on the river is jammed pretty badly, but it was sure fun on the Parsnip with lots of water. Still arctic-like up there, with half ice cover over the lake! Going to go back in a few weeks and looking for tips on catch-and-release fishing for big lake trout. Certainly can see a lot of big fish in there, swimming the shallows!"

Arctic lake parsnip access

Last weekend I was at arctic lake. Access road to closest parsnip bridge launch was flooded (shows flood plain on back road map). Barely able to drive my half ton truck through. Any higher would be a bust. Also the water was high and brought a log jam down to the launch. Has anyone been out there after the 10th and seen any changes? My friend was out there a week before me and reported that none of these problems where there at this time.
