Healthy Pike from a recovering fishery. Was out trying to catch some perch and this fellow was also looking for lunch!

My first master angler Brook Trout! The snow storm changed our camping plans, but we were still able to make a day trip out to the Duck Mountains to catch some Brook trout. We ran into some other anglers and had a blast. Was definitely the best day we've had on this lake, making memories and catching fish.

Took a break from catching fish to capture this beautiful sunset.

Bullheads in the Lily pads. I recently got engaged and got a fly rod that matched perfectly with my ring. So of course being a newly engaged woman I had to catch a fish to show them both off!

Who needs a gym when you can catch carp. The goal was to catch a 30lb carp... Goal accomplished!

Early riser gets the Carp! With a 2 hour car ride to the lake, we were up around 4am and catching tanks by 6:30! Summer can't come soon enough.

Twin Lakes Manitoba. I can't seem to tag the location, but for how many Tiger Trout I've caught and submitted I think Twin Lake in Manitoba needs to be recognized! Amazing fishing in Manitoba.

Tiger Trout from Twin Lakes, Manitoba. The trout sure seem to like the cold, with water temps starting to drop the fish were on fire.

Tiger Trout from Twin Lakes, Manitoba. A hybrid between a Brown and Brook trout, these fish have incredible markings and patterns. This trout was caught in a shallow back bay.

Pouring rain and catching walleyes. The walleyes sure didn't care that it was raining and to be honest neither did I! It was my turn to pick the lake and I felt like trying to catch a few giant walleyes. This was my biggest and I'm still a bit intimidated sometimes by these fish!

10.75 inch Bluegill Can't get out on the boat? No problem! I love going back to easy fishing and using a bobber. I still love watching it go down and having one of these tanks come up!

This picture screams Summer. Shining sun, tanned skin and beach waves. Was the perfect day to catch some common carp

Chucky Rainbow from a lake that deserves recognition. The class of Rainbows that were and still are in this lake is amazing. A true hidden gem.

Markosky Rainbow Trout Catching a tagged fish is something everyone should want to do. Seeing the growth and changes between being released and being caught is always interesting and such a learning opportunity!

Do we have to go in? Beautiful sunset captured after a long day of catching Bass, Walleye and Pike.

An incredible Fall day catching and releasing Carp. Yes, you read that right. This past fall I was out catching tons of monster carp and released them all. Having them bite your line and the fight they put up, gives you such an adrenaline rush. Everyone should give it a try!

The Carp before the storm. Relaxing on the beach, catching these monsters is a Summers treat! One I can't wait for!

Beauty and the Beast. Monster Sucker caught on the banks of the Little Saskatchewan. Was a gorgeous day, not quite my target species but a fish nonetheless!

Spring time bluegills Every May long we do a camping trip in the Turtle Mountains. We normally go out in the boat but it was so windy this past spring we were limited to when we could go. We decided to try out the shore fishing at the docks on Metigoshe and we weren't disappointed! With 100 fish days between the two of us it was an absolute blast catching these guys, with some being as big as 10.75" it was an amazing weekend.

First Tiger Trout on a Fly Rod! This was sure a trip to remember, from catching my first tiger trout on the fly rod, to getting engaged! Twin lakes will sure have a spot in my heart and soul. Couldn't have been better timing either with the beautiful sunset.
