KYPIER THAN KYPE - Second shot for Parkland trouts. Trolling was a no go as we found most of them sitting a foot or 2 from various shorelines, feeding on small minnows that got blown by the nasty wind. I was struggling in getting a bite, losing 2 big fish early in the day. (blaming the BANANA I ate) Anyway, switching to a different lure which I dont normally use for these buggers quickly changed the flow of the game. Here's 24 and a half kypin' Brown Trout from the so-called Brown Town. 🍁

It was an action packed weekend with the boys @duckmountainoutdoors @angler.genos fishing a local spot for smallies. What a great day to be alive! 🍁

Met with the gang @angler.genos @brothamark @joethepro for some "crappie" action in a local lake. It was a gorgeous morning, with little to no wind then with a sudden super gust in the afternoon. We lost count of how many we caught and released with a few thrown in the frying pan. "WHAT A CRAPPIE DAY"

Took my kids out for some quality fishing and caught a variety of species including this plump, scrappy whitebass. 🍁

Terrible wind and wet and wild morning in the rain but I thought, it wasn't really that bad despite of that crappy weather we had today as I was reeling in this beautiful, our very own and very elusive bucketmouth of Manitoba.

Went to DinoLand looking for some massive trophy Sturgeon. It was a slow day, catching some dinos here and there and this monster toothy Northern Pike.

One day, this little guy here will make it big. Caught his 2nd and 3rd trophy cat and boy keeps bragging about them day and night.

Got a macho fish here found below those power lines. These Dinos were in feeding frenzy today despite that nasty current and crazy weather. No words can explain how fun was fishing for them- unreal fight from a 30lb+ pure power. 💪💪

Even with my busy schedule, I just couldn't let this year pass without catching one or two Tiger Trouts from one of my favorite lakes in the Parklands. As usual, too much weeds which prevents us from trolling continuously throughout the lake. Luckily, we found a good stretch were we able to troll cleanly with our lures, and thats where this bad boy hit my spoon like a runaway freight train. 🍁

We navigate the treacherous water to Traverse Bay in search for fall Walleyes and we know we have to fortify ourselves as we expect giant waves and killer wind heading our way and we only have a few hours to find these green giants. In two hours, we lost count of how much walters we netted and released which were anywhere between 16-22", some are skinny but most of them were rounded. Buddy caught his trophy greenie which pumped up everyone around us plus this fatty Greenback hooked just in time before those 2 feet rollers started showing up and we know it was time to head back home.

It was one heck of a day on the ice. So, we got stucked a few times, shack had problems and some auger issues. Damn, we missed the morning bite, but waiting for that evening run really payed off a little. ❄

This one was a sexy black slough-shark with a peculiar patterns.

Another piggy toothy-critter from impel down. A super cold day at its finest brought to you by Manitoba, Canada.

Some muscles on this one. She hit when we were about to pack up our stuff. I guess she wanna say goodbye before we leave. Awesome day with my buds

Love those gals in pink just like this bad girl here that hit my power nymph fast and hard like a torpedo.

Decent day hunting for ciscos. Decided to move and tried a different spot then ended up catching this nice bronze walleye. ❄

Went for a few hours to the big lake in need to get this itch out of my system and at the same time I just couldn't pass this beach weather today. We caught a few eaters and a skinny 23" greenback plus this nice slob perchy which I opt to post since it fought better than those walleyes. ❄

Had a little nice break from fishing and thought it was bout' time I get out there and freeze my ass off too 😊. Lake Winnipeg was rough today. Have to drill a million holes, drove around the lake for miles while dodging spikes and ice ridges. Well at least that damn cold snap had finally taken a break otherwise Ill be telling a different story. Anyway, found a spot with decent greenies and this Hogster-Walster showed up just before my day ended. And yes, my truck got stucked too in a snow bank on the way back to the harbour.
