Fishing at Monroe Lake on July 19--very concerned to catch a yellow perch. These fish are predatory on the juvenile Kokanee and rainbow which are regularly stocked in Monroe. Is anyone aware of how prevalent these and/or other invasive species are in Monroe? Our catch after six hours was two rainbow and one Kokanee. Result of predation or poor fishing ability? Not a single other boat on the lake.
Olivia caught this 2 1/2 pound bass on April 2 at Wasa Lake BC. It is her biggest ever and, like all others she has caught was released. She was using a #82 Lyman Lure. Olivia asks all other bass fishermen to consider releasing their fish so that Wasa will still have bass for her children to catch.
This is Eric's first bass of 2015 caught at Wasa Lake, BC on March 30. He was using a #82 Lyman Lure. This bass was about 3 1/2 ponds and, like all others he has caught, was released after the photo. He encourages all other bass fisherman to do the same.
