Rainbow Trout Feed...

After catching only one trout using meal worms for a few hours, I decided that I should see what these trout actually feed on. So when I prepared the trout for eating, I opened the stomach and found snail shells, leeches and water beetles. The leech and the snails were not very lively anymore but the water beetles, 2 out of 3 were still moving around quite a bit. I put a few in a plastic bag and in the freezer to bring out next time and I will try them as bait.
