11 year old Evan Jones caught this trophy walleye through the ice on Kashagawigamog Lake in Haliburton, Ontario on January 26, 2020 while fishing with his dad Marc Jones. While having a competition to see who could catch the first fish of the day, his dad lost a good fish at the same time that Evan fought this beauty and landed it on his own. The fish is truly a trophy weighing in at 9 lbs 11.25 oz, only 3/4 of an ounce lighter than his dad's personal best. Great catch Evan, a trophy of a lifetime!

This is my 12 year old daughter Mya"s first Pickerel (Walleye) caught all on her own through the ice. She was so proud of herself. She is an avid fisherwoman, hunter and trapper and enjoys everything about the outdoors!
