Not much action, we went out for a couple of hours. Good news though, had a big one hit and get off so there are some left from last year.

Lots of snow on the lake, often pushing drifts with the bumper of a Chev Blazer. Ice was so thick I almost needed an extension on the auger. 1 small pike in 5 midday hours.

Major flooding. Continues along east shore in many places. 4-6" of ice most places along shore. Very wet sledding, don't try with wheeled units yet

Five hours trolling on June 6, saw only 7 fish jump. Maybe the 50 pelicans are eating too good. Second trip like this, this season.

Dickson Trout pond has winter killed. Thousands of dead suckers. Saw a few trout floating as well. No early fishing to be done there.

Gosling Lake. Known locally as Island Lake due to several islands. Bucket Brigade stocked Perch in 1990's, Small shallow lake, several springs that affect ice quality.
