Went to DinoLand looking for some massive trophy Sturgeon. It was a slow day, catching some dinos here and there and this monster toothy Northern Pike.

Got a macho fish here found below those power lines. These Dinos were in feeding frenzy today despite that nasty current and crazy weather. No words can explain how fun was fishing for them- unreal fight from a 30lb+ pure power. 💪💪

We navigate the treacherous water to Traverse Bay in search for fall Walleyes and we know we have to fortify ourselves as we expect giant waves and killer wind heading our way and we only have a few hours to find these green giants. In two hours, we lost count of how much walters we netted and released which were anywhere between 16-22", some are skinny but most of them were rounded. Buddy caught his trophy greenie which pumped up everyone around us plus this fatty Greenback hooked just in time before those 2 feet rollers started showing up and we know it was time to head back home.

The Mooneye is a very close...

The Mooneye is a very close relative of the Goldeye and the only way you can tell them apart is by comparing the position of the dorsal and anal fin (see google.com) So I went to this undisclosed part of the Winnipeg River and thanks to everyone's buddy @uncutangling in Manitoba Master Angler Minute video (see youtube.com), Mooneye dialed - it was fish almost every cast. My kids enjoyed every fish they caught until they decided they are already tired and hungry and thats how our day ended.

Went for another dino-slaying...

Went for another dino-slaying adventure and it seems like the bite was still slower than usual. We first started the day with a few saugers and walleyes then 2 hours later, I hooked into this awesome creature, a colossal and my new personal best 51.75 inches Lake Sturgeon using our personalized Sturgeon Rig baited with glob of worms and minnows. Check it out more in my next video that Ill be posting next week. ----------------------------------- We finished the day boating 9 Sturgeons with 3 being MA (Manitoba trophy size), countless small saugers, walleyes and pikes.
