Beautiful 12 pound pike caught on a Tip Up tipped with a 10" herring! Big pike are so much fun to catch on tip ups, there is something special about battling these monsters using only your hands!
Lake Sturgeon caught using a Slider rig tipped with a balled up earthworm. My father and I are members of the Alberta Sturgeon Tagging program, this beautiful fish wasn't yet tagged so we measured her girth, length, and fork length, Tagger her with a Pit Tag and safely released her back into the river and is now sending us information about her life! Sturgeon are my favorite species to catch, sometimes a persons patience can ware thin but when you hear that line zing off the real the adrenaline rush can not be matched!
