Johnson Lake
Great colors. Very shallow by boat launch. Hard to fish but when you do get one it is well worth the time

Boat Launch
The campsite and boat launch have been updated in the last year. Here are some of the recent pictures I took middle of July 2011

South Barriere Lake
If you really like to feel alone be here first thing in the morning. Loons are calling and the mist is starting to leave the lake

Latremouille Lake
This lake is at the top of the hill from Little Fort on Hwy 24

Nice size Jacks and Walleye
First arrived and found the government (Beatton Park) campground very clean and tidy. The camp host is very good and will try to accomodate all your needs. Very good cement boat launch with lots of room to turn around and park.was able to catch lots of walleye by the cliffs close to campground as well as the ones further down the lake. Jack fish that we caught were 7 and 8 pounds. Walleye were 3 to 4 pounds. Lake has a very funny botttom that ranges from 1 meter to 10 meters deep very fast. You will have to have a fish finder to keep track to this. There are a lot of dead heads is the bays close to the cliffs so be very carefull while trolling through these bays. Landed most of the jack fish on rattling rapalaâs (red or green) and the walleye with trolling jigs of the same color. As far as the map of the campgound that you find on the internet it is not very accurate call the camp ground host for furhter information.

Hard to get into
This lake poduces some very nice size rainbows. But it is a very rough road to asscess the tiny foresty campsite. From the back of the campsite is a really rustic boat launch. "V" bottom boats have a really hard time getting through the shallow muddy 25 yards before the lake. This really turns a lot of people off. There is a path way from the cattle gate on the main road to the lake where you can carry a belly boat in. Once on the lake the fishing is really good. Enjoy the quiet peacefull area. And please take you garbage out with you.
Great Place to camp and fish
Spent a week here with belly boats. Found nice sholes close to boat launch where the fishing was good. Did not get too far down the lake to see how the fishing was down there. Very quiet place neet and clean with really clean toilets. Some sites are very unlevel. Most sites have nice firepits. We found an abundance of fire wood that was free for the using. Pine beetle kill trees were bucked up into approx 18" pieces and stacked in the bush. Losts of dry branches for kindleing. Bring lots of bug spray as we did encounter lots of bugs in the early morning and evening.
