On a visit to Hinton, Alberta my brother-in-law took me fishing on Talbot Lake in Jasper National park. The lake was clear as glass with beautiful mountains as a backdrop. We trolled in a small aluminium boat with black rabbit fur flies. The Pike were biting all day as we caught many fish. It was such a great fishing experience in such a beautiful location in Canada.

Old Guy & Lake Whitefish at Talbot

Some times its takes a few tries too hook-up  went yesterday got onto a couple but it was not meant too be  was up at 4:30 am and on the lake by 6am  Lost a couple by noon ..and hooked up after 2 pm  Had too pull anchors while fighting fish as it went into the tall weeds  what a battle hit the scale at 5# even  open water Lake Whitefish is a blast  enjoy  David:-} [IMG]http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a488/Speckle55/2016/IMG_2262_zpsdji0zgjq.jpg[/IMG]

Catch and release Fun,,,,,,

Typical canadian pond shark. :) beautiful markings and aggressive hitter. Caught 5 released 5.

6 Lake Whitefish by 10am Wow fishing Lake Whitefish is spectacular!!! left town at 5:45 ...coming home by 11am got into 11 C&R-5 kept 1 ...lost 5 Fun fun fun even the bridge repair didn't stop this Old Guy Enjoy David :-} http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a488/Speckle55/2015/042_zpsmhgmkttp.jpg
