Great Lake for Kids and inexperianced anglers when fish are active. This is a good example of a lake that can teach people how to interprite fish habitat and seasonal patterns.

Fishing Report September 15th 2013

This lake seems promising. I had an ok day here. It a very small lake with easy access, I would agree that fishing this lake when there is less pressure would be a good idea. since its very small. I started the day fishing at 10:30. Ide recommend that all your provisions be in tow before you arrive here as its pretty far from Bancroft or Barrys Bay. it was about 15degress all day with light wind was WSW for most of the day at about 8 Kph. I found that regular tactics for searching for fish didnt work that well. I trolled the circomfrance of most of the lake having not found much. I then targeted the main lake point on the south west side of the lake covred from the wind. I cought a small northern which left me satisfyed, I wasnt expecting much having never fished the lake before. I would recommed it for a few hours in the spring, mid or late summer and early fall for sure. traffic on the lake would otherwise be overwhelming through the middle of the summer. although I wouldnt recommend it unless you have kids or inexperianced people with you. I intend to visit here again soon.
