hi- Trailering in from west ottawa next week- The map in anglers atlas shows a "public" boat ramp North of the park - is this ramp suitable for a 20 foot and parking available??- we want to leave ottawa early (3am) but Smarts marina and the park ramps are not open until 8 AM. Any comments on that ramp north of the park?/ greg

Hi, yes I've seen this ramp but from the water. If I recall, the hummingbird was saying 8-10 feet of water. (Can't be sure though) Parking is along the road I believe. There are 2 other ramps, one in the provincial park (Bon Echo) and one on the Southern end of the lake. I pull my boat behind a 21 foot trailer so have a 14 foot only and can be launched from the park where I am booked for 2 weeks coming up soon.
