This whole lake has been fished out for years. I wouldn't rent a cottage here was of time like a few other lakes in the area.

Look for weeds throughout the open water season, narrow down the productive locations from those that do not produce, look for clumps of weeds that attract bait fish and smaller prey fish you will locate decent sized pike off this structure and on or near it throughout the year. be weary of boat traffic,

Great Selection of Fish

Kennebec is Oligotropic, There is a great selection of SM Bass and Walleye and Pike. as per a 2001 net count Perch where well established aswell. There are recommendations for a stocked population of walleye to be added to the lake. Due to its proximity to Major hwy, traffic is consistent. there are cottages throughout the lake also.
