We had a great day out on this lake filled with beautiful Brooke Trout! I caught a handful of these amazing fish! When sitting in the tent you can see them through the ice when they strike your lure ( and they hit hard! ) I was using a small jig that a friend of mine had tied some pink yarn and thread on to to imitate a shrimp and it never disappoints! Tight lines!

Hiked in this gem and just a great day all and all. After catching a couple of decent brooks it slowed down a bit but after jigging aggressively this beauty came out of nowhere! Put up a great fight and is the largest brook I've caught! Great day and great experience!
