The summer doldrums arrived early with this unseasonably warm, dry weather. Try casting lines only before 8 am or after 10 pm. In Tabor Lake, the fish are found low, low, low, even nestling in the mud on the lakebed. Sink your line as deep as you can.

Vivian Lake has been really productive lately. Some of the best fishing in the Prince George area has been at Vivian Lake! Larger brook trout coming out regularly.
Out near Tabor Lake this past weekend. The ice is NOT solid yet, and there is still open water on the east end of the lake. Don't venture out just yet.
