Another week fishing on Lake Nipigon (Humboldt Bay), May 25-31, with many large brook trout taken. Water was still a bit cold, which limited our fishing locations. Landed a 63 brookies with almost 30% > 22".

After a slow start to early season brook trout fishing on northern Lake Nipigon, the water finally warmed up and the fish got active. Some late afternoon shore trolling produced this nice 8lb brook trout near the McIvor Islands.
