After more than 50 years of fishing across Canada, I finally caught my first Musky. A 45 inch healthy, hard fighting beast! This fish plus a 45 in Pike and a 36 inch Walleye made 2016 the best year ever!
After more than 20 years attempting to catch a Northern Pike to achieve the "In Fisherman" Master Angler Award (43 in) I finally caught my biggest Pike ever in the far north. The great great Grandmother was over 40 years old, 45 inches long and 32 lbs! We gently let her go to live on.
While fishing North of Lake Superior, we met a friendly moose that came into the camp to check out what People were doing including checking to see what Emily was reading!!. He stayed with us for half a day and then shaking his head, swam away.

60th birthday present. At our far north fly in favorite lake on my actual 60th birthday I caught the largest walleye and pike of the group. Super presents. Best party yet!
In our favorite far north island fly in fishing cabin. A moose named Moses visits through out the summer. He is incredible bold and shows little concern of people around near him. Truly nature at it's best!!
