Nothing fancy, just a good feed of the best tasting size walleye anyone could ask for. Caught early morning on the Ottawa River, near Swisha Quebec.

Nice little walleye caught in a small bay dropoff. It was a slow morning until she hit.
This is the cup l talked about...
This is the cup l talked about earlier. As you can see we have fun and enjoy handing the cup from last years winner to the newest. This year My son John won....it only took him 10 years to win it. We alternate one year it's the biggest pickeral and the next it's the most caught. We have fun.
While on our 20th anual...
While on our 20th anual fishing trip to Pinecrest Resort, located in Deep River Ontario; my 4 son's and I fish for the family cup. The cup, hand made by my oldest son John, (looks like the Stanley cup), is held for one year by the winner and also the bragging rights. I did not win, however while jigging with orange jig with a stinger hook l managed my own double header. Both fish hit at the same time and it really was a nice fight....thought l had the winner. Teaching your kids to fish is the best thing you can do. Even though we all live in differant parts of Ontario; and they all have children of their own now we make this week special. Fishing with your family is the best it gets.
