Lafleur Lake.. Round Lake Zone 15
Tough to get to but worth the effort. On opening weekend of bass season ( 2016) my buddy and I caught 29 small mouth in 3 hours. These are the ones we kept. Lafleur Lake is spring fed, deep and cold so the bass don`t get very big but are good eating and a blast to catch. The only problem is navigating the goat path into it.. It`s all I can do to get my Mazda B3000 in there with a canoe on the rack.

It's small but it works
Had a fantastic day on Lake Dore July 28 2016. Calm winds and water so it was quite comfortable fishing for 6 hours in my little 12 footer. Caught 9 Small Mouth, 3 Pike ( one was 36 inches long) and a couple of Black Crappie on the north shore of the lake . Threw everything back however as the fish finder was reading the water temperature at 78.3 degrees F and I didn't want to take a chance that the fish were wormy.

An hour fishing from shore
Caught these guy's in an hour off the shore of Night Hawk Lake (Timmins, ON) last August (2015) using Walleye rigs and shiner minnows. Problem is the Mooneye also like the shiners so you go through quite a few minnows trying to catch Walleye in this lake. According to my Brother in Law there has been a lot of fishing pressure on Night Hawk in the past couple of years so BIG Walleye are few and far between. Heading up there again in September so we will see how I do.
