Emerson Lake
Emerson Lake is nestled in the heart of Sundance Provincial Park.

Calm Waters
We live in a place that seems almost magical. Nothing but birds chirping in the distance, the fish jumping after bugs on the water and the Picturesque Rocky Mountains in the background. This is Kinky lake at night fall after a great day of fishing. Kinky Lake Hinton, Alberta 2008

Sunset fishing
Kinky lake in Hinton Alberta in July 2008. In this neck of the woods you can expect all kinds of weather without notice. This was the sunset after a rain storm on the water.

Sunset over Pierre Greys Lake
After a great day of fishing in Februrary 2009 for Rainbow and Brooke trout we were blessed with a breathtaking sunset over the frozen horizon.

THE MOON RISING OVER THE ICE ON GREGG LAKE

SUMMER 2008 FISHING AT FICKLE LAKE
THIS IS A BUSY LITTLE SPOT IN THE SUMMER ALOT OF PEOPLE ENJOYING THE SUNSHINE. WITH THE CAMPSITES VERY CLOSE THE DOCK/BOAT LAUNCH AREA IS VERY BUSY BECAUSE IT IS ALSO THE MAIN ACCESS FOR THE CAMPERS ETC ENJOY THE WATER. HOWEVER, THE BOAT LAUNCH IS VERY ACCESSIBLE WITH ALOT OF PARKING AND ROOM TO TURN YOUR BOAT TRAILERS AROUND. ONCE YOU WEED THROUGH THE SWIMMERS AND GET AWAY FROM THE OTHER BOATS ON THE WATER. YOU ENTER WALLEYE HEAVEN! WE HEADED STRAIGHT FROM THE DOCK TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE TOWARD A WEED WALL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE LAKE. IMMEDIATLY THEY STARTED BITING. THERE WAS TWO US IN THE BOAT AND WE TROLLED OUR WAY THROUGH THE WEEDS WHERE WE TEASED SOME JACK THEN HEADED INTO THE TALL WEEDS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE LAKE. THE WALLEYE FOUGHT OVER OUR HOOKS, AS FAST AS WE COULD GET THEM UP ( AND RELEASE THEM OF COURSE) OUR HOOKS WOULD HIT THE WATER AND ANOTHER WOULD BITE. IN TOTAL WE LANDED NO LESS THAN 30 WALLEYE THAT AFTERNOON. ALTHOUGH YOU CAN'T KEEP THE WALLEYE HERE IT WAS A GREAT AFTERNOON OF CATCH AND RELEASE. NEVER A DULL MOMENT ON THOSE WATERS.
