WINTER - The inflow from the creek plus possible underwater springs in this area makes the ice sketchy near the mouth of the creek

Train Bridge - The ice below this bridge gets VERY UNSAFE in the winter. Almost every winter a truck goes through right here

Goosequill Bay- only accessible with very small boats (canoe / kayak) from the main lake. Decent fishing for walleye.

Depth chart in this area is NOT accurate. There is a VERY SHALLOW ridge (reef?) going along parallel to the shore in part of this bay, quite a ways out, around where it says '5 meter'. There is often a Cardinal Buoy marking the area. (placed by the AOSA) although in recent years it has been missing at times.

Rizzie Shoal - very shallow. Marked from May Long to Thanksgiving by a lighted yellow pole (yellow flashing light) and two yellow buoys. Water is 1 1/2' to 2' deep around the markers. Pass on the deep water side! (the other hazard indicator on the map for this area is inaccurate - no more red buoys)
