I had broken my elbow and was in therapy in Cranbrook BC for the summer of 2019. Being that Physio ended every day at noon, I brought my boat along, bought a BC fishing license, and tried a few lakes close by. After several days of fishing and showing a few new friends from physio how to perch fish with a pickerel rig, This monster bent my rod into the water without knowing or ever catching a bass before. This was my first bass ever caught, and never thought they would go for a pickerel rig. It was a great fish fry among new friends that evening.
