This was the first time I had ever gone ice fishing for perch and I was very proud of my first catch!!

This picture was actually taken by my photographer friend of mine as promo for a song I wrote called “Girls Like Fishing Too”. I love fishing and I’m a “thumbs up, life is good” kind of gal. I wrote a fishing song just for the ladies!

We were heading down to the lake with our granddaughter while staying at Murphy’s Landing in Nakusp. I stopped to turn around to get her picture and she totally posed!

This picture was taken at sunset on Pierce Lake , Saskatchewan, May long weekend. Was fishing with my husband & brother/sister in law and just was admiring the beautiful sunset and grabbed this shot.
