Lodging and Camping

Located on the north end of Bluey Lake, this attractive recreation site is popular for fishing, camping and boating activities. The site is situated in a Douglas fir forest and is somewhat shaded. Sites are not that large so truck campers, tenters and small trailers with high clearence mainly use this site. Not recommended for large trailers or motorhomes due to the narrow and rough access road.

Located south of Kentucky-Alleyne Provincial Park, access is off Highway 97C via the Loon Lake Exit. Drive slowly through the Provincial Park and turn left just after the park gate. Continue driving this road for about 3 kilometres to the site. Access is also available along Highway 5A about 10 minutes south of Aspen Grove. Turn into the road going to Kentucky-Alleyne Provincial Park and just before you reach the Provincial Park gate turn right. Continue driving this rough and narrow road for about 4 kilometres to the site. The gravel road is deemed to be a 4 x 4 road as it becomes somewhat rough and has a few steep sections the further you go in. There are few turnouts as well so it is not recommended for large motorhomes or 5th wheels or cars with low clearance.
