A small, open campsite at a tranquil lake; dock.

A 15-minute drive south of Golden along Hwy 95 will take you to the community of Parson. From Parson drive south west along the main Spillimacheen FS road, first crossing the Columbia River and then rising to the benchlands to the west. After 6 km, turn south onto the Mitten Lake road. Travel this road south for an additional 8 km, turning right before reaching Mitten Lake. This is an active logging area.
