The spring thing is in full affect. Blessed to land this beauty brown a few weeks back on the new G3 jet boat 🤟🤟🎣🎣
This fish I titled "sweet redemption". Two of my clients had hooked this fish the two previous guided fishing trips but were unable to bring it to my awaiting net. On the third trip (a night trip), my friends daughter finally landed this illusive, golden buttery brown.
Winter fishing the Bow River can be the best season to land epic brown trout like this one pictured here. Siv and I hiked down river in search of massive browns. The mighty Bow River gave up the goods once again.
Gut instincts and being in the right place at the right time made this sweet fat brown trout that much sweeter.

Lower Bow River Brown trout
Many amazing Brown Trout fishing to be had in the Bow River form the upper stretches of the river, all the way past the Carseland Weir. Once stocked long ago, these fish are now a self reproducing population of fish. Highly elusive....very sought after !!
