Trailhead

This is a 5 km modest uphill hike to the lake. Trail head is parking lot off of the Smith- Dorien Trail and is well marked. Take bear spray as a female grizzly has lived in the area and raised a number of cubs here for years. Trail to the lake is well marked and takes about an hour at an easy pace.
