Hello Tony, Have you heard of murphy's bay, My dad and i were trolling for pike and bass in about 30 feet of water, I was using a rapala crr14 in perch colour. When trolling we usually get bass and pike. A walleye was the last thing i would have ever expected to catch as i have never got one on the Big Rideau before. When i hooked into it i thought i had hit weeds or bottom as it felt like dead weight then i started to feel the head shakes, I thought it was a huge bass at first because when i came up it was a green like a bass. When it came closer i saw it was a huge son of a gun walleye. It was 25 inches and we didnt weigh it but i'd say it was around 6 pounds. I'm only 15 and that was the second walleye I have ever caught. I've been on the lake all my life and have never gotten one until this year. One of my family's good friends said a few years ago he caught a 9 pound walleye off his dock ( his dock drops off 30 feet or so) not sure if he was joking as he likes to or if he was telling the truth. Best of luck to you catching a walleye on this lake, maybe I got lucky and caught the only one. Add me on face book and i can send you some pics of the walleye and some other nice bass I've gotten!1 Cheers, William

Hi William, Cool thanks for the info. Would need your Facebook id or full name to invite you? I fish a lot with my partner (wife) and we are headed there August 5th for 3 days. We live in Quebec but love the Ontario Provincial parks. Mostly Murphy's Point, Bon Echo (got several Walleye there last summer), Charleston and Algonquin. Regards, Tony
