Lodging and Camping

The recreation site has a steep boat launch. The site is popular for hunting, fishing and camping. The recreation site is not suitable for RVs. The road is rough in areas (4x4).

From 100 Mile House, travel north on Hwy 97 for about 1.5 km, then turn east onto Canim-Hendrix Lake Road. Travel about 20 km to the community of Forest Grove, then turn right/east at the 3-way stop sign, remaining on the Canim-Hendrix Lake Road. Proceed another 25 km, at which point the road becomes the 6000 Road (gravel). Travel to 60-18 km and turn right onto the Spanish Creek Forest Service Road (7000 Road). Travel 9.4 km and turn right onto the Pendleton Forest Service Road (7100 Road). Continue another 10.5 km to the Pendleton Lake Recreation Site.
