Amazing day on the hard water, especially with my first brook trout ever, and it was topside!

Quarantined to the lake during the COVID-19 outbreak, lots of fishing to still be done!!

Walleye?? Fishing for walleye shortly after ice-out on the Canadian side Detroit river, and got an amazing looking small mouth!

It was a beautiful morning in late October, so I decided to go fishing and told my parents that I was for sure to catch my first musky of the fall season. So my mom let me take her car to please me, and I set off in hopes of a 50" fish. I showed up around 6 am and started casting, for hours, with no luck. Then the sun started coming over the top of the tree line, I heard people yelling from down the bank. FISH ON! I sprinted down the rock point to go check out the amazing fish that had been caught by a local angler. After watching the unhooking process and release, I soon rushed back to my spot to start casting. Two casts later WHACK, FISH ON, I had finally hooked into a beautiful 37" tiger musky on an all-white medusa. I got it unhooked quickly for an awesome picture, to watch it wave goodbye, as it swam ever so graceful back down into the beautiful crystal clear Lake St. Clair water. I come home to tell my parents that I had finally caught one, and it was not more kilometres on the car for nothing.
