A nice bull trout from the upper pitt river, thanks to our guide Juda putting us in the right spot. This bull was lurking along the seam just behind some debris, so a lucky cast got the fly to the right spot...and it got deep enough to illicit a strike. We were fishing homemade popsicles and showgirls with good success.

On our last morning of our Upper Pitt River trip, I landed this chrome coho on a super sparse kelsey's hope. My first cast and swing through the run garnered some attention with a quick hit, but I didn't set the hook fast enough. I cast back to the same location and worked the fly a bit faster and more aggressively through the swing, and the coho smashed it. I was into my backing within seconds and managed to land him about 10min later. He was released after getting a great photo.

I took a few clients on a guided fishing trip on the upper pitt river in October. Water conditions were really tough given heavy rains, but we ran into some nice bulls on the first day, and some chrome coho on the second day. I hooked up with this bull on a home-tied popsicle.

This photo was taken at Corbett Lake, on our annual 3-generation family trip. I fish with my son (he is 7) and my dad (who is 75), so there are 3 generations of avid fisherman from our family on the water! My son helped land this beautiful rainbow my netting him and releasing him. Once we anchored in the shallows at the far end of the lake, we had constant hook-ups while casting a BC leech and fast stripping it in the shallows.
