Mirror Finish.
This picture was taken on a road/fishing trip up James Bay Road, we had to stop once our eyes set down on this mirror like finish this lake. luckily for my husband and i there was enough room on the side of the road for our boat and truck to stop, in order for us to throw a few lines in!

Boat Launch at Lake Matagami Campgrounds- To stay (with more than most campground facilities, RV, water, plug ins) it is $22 per night. Boat launch is roomy, with easy access.

Boat Launch-Access to East lake or Outlet River which leads into Lake Ontario (although quite shallow at inlet, definitely passable) Boat launch is great, has a small wooden dock alongside it also.

Public Boat Launch- however you need to hold a Harbour Licence to boat in these waters. Huge car park, plenty of room, access to many parts of Toronto.

Bluffers Park Public Boat Launch- easy access, great boating- Even if you have a small boat not fit for lake ontario, you can safely scoot across to the marina and troll in there. You can find great Pike and Salmon in fall.

To get to this boat launch you need to drive a good 45mins preferably a 4WD, and prepare to portage if your camping. Its a gravel, sandy launch with plenty of room and car spaces.

Goodmorning Lake Sherborne
I took this photo on a recent back country camping trip my husband and i went on this summer. Every morning was unreal, the conditions for boating and fishing were perfect. Ironically we didn't actually end up catching ANYTHING! But is was a great trip, never the less.

My second Pike!
I caught my second Pike on a boat ramp on Waswanipi River, during a fishing/road trip up James Bay Road. He was a tough little dude that gave a fight, he even had some war scars to match his attitude! I put him back, where he belongs...He weighed 2.11 Lbs. Small in comparison, but you have to start somewhere! I was proud as punch.

Two concrete boat launches here, just meters from a rustic campground- 10km drive from James Bay Road. Our 14' went down with ease, anchored it on shore- no problem. Caught a nice little Pike just of the ramp- so it's in my good books!
