Caught 2 of the biggest perch on Amisk Lake. On aug 2 2018. Although the sky was cloudy and looked like it was going to rain. I decided to go to the end of the lake on the south side and fish by the Lilly pads. This time I decided to fish in 6 ft of water instead of my normal 12 ft. Was about 7:30am I plunked my anchor down and prepared my fishing rod with a leech, it didn’t even have time to hit bottom before it striked. And have to admit the fight was on and new I had a real good one on. I started to giggle line a little kid once I got it in the boat. Thinking what would be the odds to get another one just as big or bigger. Well the picture tells it out. 1 at 15 1/2” long and my 2nd just short of 16” .. as far as I know fishing on Amisk Lake for 20 yrs these are the biggest perch coming out of this lake.
