Caught this fish in June of 2017 in Lake Vernon, Huntsville, ON. It was the very first day of fishing on our new fishing boat! We had no landing net or experience with such a big fish. Luckily I had a fish glove and was able to grab in by the tail, and hoist it out of the water. I held the mouth with the lure that was still hooked. We released it and purchased a landing net the following day !
