I was on my way to Kemptville,Ontario to shore fish for musky on the redeau river when it started to down pour heavy rain, which made me think should I turn around and go home? Or continue on my way to go fishing then suddenly my urge to go fishing kicked in and I told myself weather it’s raining or not I going to go fishing! Sure enough when I got to the destination I was headed too the rain had suddenly stopped and the sun came out, I knew it was going to be a good time for fishing at this point, within the first 5 casts I hooked onto what seemed to be a heavy log but I was so wrong when this musky I had hooked onto came within two feet from the surface my jaw dropped and the excitement grew largely! My first musky I had ever caught! Measured in at 41” and was real eased back into the redeau river as soon as I got a picture, was so thankful to have caught my first musky and I will never forget that day.
