One of the walleye we got into a on a small area off of the York River in Haliburton Highlands. I had to get a close up of the teeth even though its small they are mighty.
Drilling some holes up in the Haliburton Highlands in some back country. We ended up getting some decent walleye and the boys got some Northern Pike over 20lbs the next day.
A Northern Pike tail, amazing colours and healthy fish coming from the Thames River. The winter bite for these fish is very good and some fish over 45 inches.
Even the small ones count, and really any fish caught is just a bonus for me being alongside some of the greatness wilderness this world has to offer right here in Ontario.
Winter Steelhead- In the late hours of 2016 before trout close in Zone 16 of Ontario, I got into some beauty steelhead. What amazing colours these fish have, and we only get to hold and admire these magnificent elusive creatures for less than 30 seconds or so after the countless hours spent in search of them.
