Myself and 2 friends found this spot last year and have caught numerous fish there. Today (23 Jan 2018) we decided to give it another try. It went down as expected - caught several assorted pike but that was all we were catching. Usually whitefish and burbot are on the list. The fishing rush seemed to have stopped for the day. As usual dedicated fishermen always give it another hour before they decide to pack up. This time it paid off! Fish action literally shut down and then this 20.7 pound monster hit my line. It made everyone's day! After a bunch of pictures we let her go back to stalk more unknowing baitfish and produce thousands more for all to enjoy. Great day on the lake!!
